Introducing Mount Eliza Chiropractor Dr. Jeroen Lynders

As a teenager I was a keen karate competitor and there was this inspirational chiropractor who trained with us that had these amazing healing hands. He talked about the inbuilt healing potential of the body and it made so much sense.

Mount Eliza chiropractor, Dr. Jeroen Lynders

Dr Jeroen Lynders has been consulting at the centre since 1998 after completing tertiary studies at RMIT in Melbourne. Dr Lynders successively completed chiropractic neurology board examinations (dacnb.org) in January 2004 after completing 2 years of post-graduate training with the Carrick Institute (carrickinstitute.org). Dr Lynders is only one of a handful of board certified chiropractic neurologists in Australia and as such has a special interest in the functional integration of the human nervous system and its impact on health and wellness. Dr Lynders utilizes the latest research in neuroscience to provide effective management of many disorders of brain laterality and function; he has a particular interest in childhood learning disorders, autism and ADD/ADHD.

We value a pro-active team approach an aim to keep you well-informed and educated at all stages of your care, we listen to your feedback an always aim to communicate effectively in meeting your health needs.

My wife Sarah is a sports podiatrist at our practice and we have two young sons, Nathan and Cael. I spend my spare time with my bonsai trees and I have had a long term interest in Martial Arts training which I have done since I was 7 years old. I have travelled to Japan on numerous occasions as a coach and competitor and really enjoy Asian history and philosophy. I currently teach classes two nights a week in a local academy in Mornington.

I receive chiropractic adjustments fortnightly to monthly, as do all of the family members. Sarah and I chose not to vaccinate our children until their immune systems were adequately developed. Cael was born at home with a midwife. We rarely use antibiotics and over the counter pain medication preferring rather to use natural options and practice habits which improve our health. We try to eat organic as much as possible and frequently use naturopathic and homeopathic remedies. Sarah rides her bike and goes to the gym to keep fit while I also go to the gym and train karate and jiu-jitsu.
